Cut-off date for 2018-19 admissions in Technical Institutes, Universities, Polytechnics in Haryana

Haryana State Technical Education Society (HSTES) has issued a Public Notice specifying that 15 Aug 2018 is the last date for admissions in Technical Educational Institutes / Universities / Polytechnics for the session 2018-19. Thus, all admissions in the courses have to be, in all circumstances and without any exception, completed upto 15 Aug 2018 and no admission is permissible after the said date in any circumstances whatsoever. Any admission taken / made after the cut-off date shall be invalid and shall stand cancelled automatically.

Special Advisory : The notification also carries a specific note stating “All aspiring candidates / stakeholders are also advised to take admission in the technical course upto the last cut-off date of admissions i.e., 15.08.2018 for the session 2018-19. The admission taken after the said cut-off date shall not be valid admission and such admission will stand cancelled automatically”.

Additionally, Technical Educational Institutes / Universities / Polytechnics have been specifically directed to verify the eligibility criteria / credentials of each candidate at the time of reporting for admission. The institutions have also been warned that in case of any admission made after the said date, they shall be liable for appropriate penal action under the provisions of “The Haryana Private Technical Institution (Regulation of Admission and Fee) Act, 2012 (Haryana Act No. 18 of 2012”.

Additional (Separate) Public Notice for all Technical Educational Institutions/ Universities/Polytechnics regarding Eligibility Criteria/ Credentials of the Admitted Students of Session 2018-19

This separate Public Notice reads as below :

It is for information of all the Technical Educational Institutions/ Universities/Polytechnics that eligibility criteria/ credentials of the Students admitted upto last cut-off date of admissions i.e 15.08.2018 must be checked and verified as per the Eligibility criteria mentioned in the respective Prospectus of technical course for session 2018-19 available on the website of HSTES (www.hstes.org.in). In case any non-eligible student is found to be admitted in any of the courses then criminal action shall be initiated against the institution by the Department for making the fraudulent admission.

Admitted Candidates also ensure that they are eligible for the course as per the eligibility criteria and valid documents have been submitted by them for the admission otherwise legal action for making fraud shall also be initiated against them.
